Halloween Party Crafts for Preschool Kids

For preschool kids, the halloween get-together activities can prove to be a great learning resource and fun as well. Printable coloring pages can be downloaded or bought from local shops for the small kids.

• Jack-O-Lantern and Pumpkin activities:
  Pumpkin printable activities enable the kids to learn about letters J and P. Kids also get to learn about pumpkin and pumpkin colors i.e. orange and green
• Candy Corn activities:
  Kids learn about letter C. They also learn about candy corn, candy corn counting games and candy corn colors i.e. yellow and orange
• Cat activities:
  Children learn about letter C as well as about cat as a domestic animal and colors of cats i.e. black, gray and white
• Owl activities:
  A kid can learn about letter O and some information about owl and colors of owl i.e. brown, black and orange
• Bat activities:
  A child learns about letter B as well as bat colors i.e. black and brown

Halloween Party Crafts for Kids and Adults

Illuminated Monster jug

• Take a milk container and color it purple and green
• Remove the lid and tie a black yarn to indicate hairs on the top of the container
• Let the paint on the container dry
• Paint two eyes and a smiling face on the jug
• Place a small light inside the jar and let it glow

Ghost from a plastic bag

• Take a branch of a tree
• Place the branch on the surface
• Tie the two sides of one end of a plastic garbage bag to the branch
• From black foam make two eyes and a smiling mouth and attach them to the plastic bag on a branch
• From purple foam make a tie under the smiling face of the plastic bag
• Attach 3 orange buttons below the tie of the plastic bag
• Cut the two sides of the other end of the bag into shapes of triangles (make tatters)
• Take a yarn to tie the branch with a ghost(i.e. plastic bag)on a tree

Treat bag from egg cups

• Take eggcups (i.e. container to serve boiled eggs). Neatly cut the edges of the eggcups
• Paint the eggcups with various Halloween sketches and let them dry for few minutes
• Take tissue papers and cut them into the shape of eggcups
• Glue the tissue papers and paste them inside the eggcups
• Paint two spooky eyes and mouth on each cup
• Fill the cups with candies or some other treats

Black Cat Tin

• Clean and dry a vegetable can
• Paint the outside of the can with black color and let it dry for few minutes
• Make cat eyes using golden felt (a non-woven cloth) and eyelids from black felt
• Make a cat nose using pink felt
• Below the nose make whiskers on both sides using gray felt
• Make cat ears using black felt
• Glue a black glitter felt inside the can and gift the black cat container which can be used as a pen stand or some other useful purpose
